I have been going to Tire Kingdon/Mavis for about 12 years now. I just moved to the area 2 weeks ago and was happy to have a Mavis 5 minutes away. I scheduled for a full synthetic oil change. I wanted to have the brakes inspected, Tires Rotated, and I checked off for the balance check as well. The guy helping me was very kind and patient. He seemed kinda new and showed the guy i wanted the balance checked. The other guy RAMBLED for about 5-10 minutes straight about how I shouldn't do the balance check. Of how he couldn't do that. If he were to do that for every car he could only do 3 a day. He clearly was frustrated about having to do it and did everything possible to convince me not to. I'm am not going to insist if he clearly has a bad attitude about having to do something that is offered for free. One guy said he doesn't understand why they do 8am appointments if they can't get the cars in until 9am. My appointment was for 9am and just waited about 1 1/2 hours while I did some work on my laptop. The worker once again chimed in on the why I shouldn't do the balance check. I told him don't worry, that I just don't want to listen to him anymore about the same topic. Overall i was s

Great experience today. It was a Sunday around 3 PM, so not very crowded. I was driving my car to a different tire place across town when I passed by this one and thought Iβd pull in to see if they could replace a tire for me. They were great. Phil was my customer service rep and was able to get me in right away. Turns out Phil is a retired Air Force veteran and he and I were stationed at the same place at the same time, so it was a fun conversation talking about the old days. The maintenance tech, Dylan, did a great job replacing the tire. As it happens, I had a splash guard that was hanging down from the front of the vehicle and I just asked him if he could take a look at it, he was more than happy to accommodate me. He put it up on the lift and fixed my problem in about two minutes, no charge. I will definitely be using this place in the future for my tires, brakes, oil changes etc.

After enjoying a long weekend of visiting relatives in Clearwater there was one of those annoying events in life that popped up. A flat tire!!!grrrrπ€―. On my birthday no less. So instead of taking a quick trip to the beach as planned we had to deal with the tire. While we did get to enjoy breakfast at Lennyβs we had to wait for a while for AAA to arrive. But the AAA driver was great. Efficient and gave us a recommendation for our next step to get the tire repaired so we could drive a few hours home safely. Mavis Tires & Brakes on Gulf to Bay took good care of us. Phil at Mavis made our day. I not only recommend them as did the AAA driver but also would not hesitate to go back for service. Go Rays !

I am from our of town. So I googled a tire repair shop near me when I had found a screw in my tire. I went to Mavis tire as I travel alot and knew they were reputable and had several locations. Not even aware of the costly nightmare I was about to encounter. I was told the tire had to be plugged. The service writer told me it was taking longer as my jeep tires are thick and broke a part on there machine. Ok Well the next morning I was suprise to see i only had 26 lbs. Of air in the tire. I proceed to return to mavis. as I stopped by the jeep dealer to check on a tire warranty I thought i had. But I do not. Where I was told the tire was now damaged. So as I finally arrived at mavis, I ask the service writer to come outside so I can show him and not discuss in front of his current customers. So I showed him the plug and was asking why it was like that. He said Its not where the leak is coming from that my tire was bad. We'll upon putting 46 lbs of air in ( only uses 35 ) & then spraying water on the plug it blew some major bubbles. Leak found, I ask service writer to put the wheel in back of truck and put my spare on please. After telling him I can't get the tire today. H

I initially found this location online as I am prepared to go on a trip and I was having an issue with my tire so I decided to replace the four because I was unable to find my exact tire size and be available today at most any locations that I've looked at today. After setting the appointment and seeing that it would roughly cost me $515I figured I'd also get an oil change since I was about to go on a fairly long trip. After arriving at the store the employee made absolutely zero effort to get off his stool to at least come out and get any of the information off of my vehicle as I used to work at a service center like that years ago I know that was one of the parts of the job as a salesperson that was actually required but again with this generation being so young I don't think customer service is something that they understand nor know how to do. The sales person mentioned that since I was purchasing four tires that it may be a good idea to also get an alignment as I've only owned the car for 8 months I thought I might as well and being that it was a discounted one that they were on sale I figured why not once I was all set and was told that the price was $210 some change more tha
